Sea Hawk Hawk Epoxy Pump Kits are designed specifically for use with the Hawk Epoxy System to provide fast, clean and accurate measurement of R1 Epoxy Resin and Hawk Epoxy Catalysts.
Each pump is calibrated for its specific component so the proper resin-to-catalyst ratio can be achieved using one complete stroke of the resin pump and one complete stroke of the appropriate catalyst pump. This eliminates the need to manually measure different mix ratios and helps ensure consistent epoxy performance and proper curing.
Each kit contains three dedicated pumps:
The separate catalyst pumps are important because Hawk Epoxy catalysts use different resin-to-catalyst ratios. C1 Ultra Slow and C5 Clear Finish use a 3:1 ratio, while C2 Slow Cure and C3 Fast Cure use a 5:1 ratio. The calibrated pump system automatically accounts for these differences when the correct pump is used.
The pumps install directly onto the corresponding Hawk Epoxy containers, making them especially convenient for boatyards, fiberglass repair facilities and other users who regularly mix smaller batches of epoxy.
Sea Hawk offers two pump-kit sizes to accommodate the different Hawk Epoxy container sizes.

For the 30-KT Size 1 & 2 kit, Sea Hawk also specifies pump extension tubes for use with Size 1 containers.
The Hawk Epoxy system uses R1 Epoxy Resin with a choice of catalysts depending on cure speed and application requirements:
C1 Ultra Slow Catalyst — 3:1 mixing ratio
C2 Slow Cure Catalyst — 5:1 mixing ratio
C3 Fast Cure Catalyst — 5:1 mixing ratio
C5 Clear Finish Catalyst — 3:1 mixing ratio
Because the pump kit includes separate calibrated pumps for the two catalyst groups, the user doesn't have to manually calculate these ratios for normal pump dispensing.
For accurate dispensing, the pumps must be properly primed before use, and Sea Hawk recommends reading the appropriate pump-kit manual before mixing epoxy. The manufacturer's instructions cover pump installation, priming, accurate measurement, cleaning and storage.
For best results, always use the pump designed for the specific Hawk Epoxy component and container size.
