Sea Hawk Hawk Epoxy C2 Slow Cure Catalyst is part of the Hawk Epoxy system and is formulated for use with Hawk Epoxy R1 Resin when a slower cure speed and extended working time are required.
C2 is designed for high-strength bonding, coating, and fiberglass applications while providing excellent moisture-barrier characteristics. Its slower cure rate makes it particularly suitable for use in higher-temperature conditions, where additional working time may be required before the epoxy begins to cure.
When combined with R1 Resin, the Hawk Epoxy system can be used for a wide range of marine construction and repair applications, including bonding, fairing, coating, waterproofing, and fiberglass repair and construction.
C2 Slow Cure Catalyst mixes with R1 Resin at a 5:1 ratio by volume. Sea Hawk's color-coded system sizing helps ensure the correct resin and catalyst quantities are paired together.

C2 Slow Cure Catalyst is used with Hawk Epoxy R1 Resin when slower curing and additional working time are required. It is designed for high-strength bonding, coating, and fiberglass applications and is compatible with higher-temperature working conditions.
Any of the six Hawk Epoxy Fillers can be used with the R1 Resin and C2 Catalyst combination, allowing the mixed epoxy to be modified for different bonding, filling, fairing, and repair applications.
For accurate proportioning, the Hawk Epoxy Pump Kit includes a dedicated C2/C3 Catalyst Pump along with the R1 Resin Pump. The pumps are calibrated to dispense the correct mix ratio with one full pump stroke of resin and one full pump stroke of catalyst.
