Sea Hawk Hawk Epoxy R1 Resin is a premium blend, low-odor epoxy resin formulated for marine construction, fiberglass repair, bonding, filling, coating, and waterproofing applications.
R1 Resin provides superior adhesion, strength, bonding, filling, and moisture-barrier properties and can bond to a wide variety of substrates, including wood, fiberglass, metals, fabrics, and various foams and plastics.
R1 serves as the base resin for the complete Hawk Epoxy System. It can be combined with four different Hawk Epoxy catalysts, allowing the cure characteristics to be selected according to the application and working conditions:
The Hawk Epoxy system is available in three color-coded System Sizes. Sea Hawk specifies selecting the same System Size for both the R1 Resin and chosen catalyst for optimal product utilization.
Any of the six Hawk Epoxy fillers can also be incorporated into the resin/catalyst mixture, providing a wide range of epoxy blends for bonding, filling, fairing, and other construction and repair applications.

Sea Hawk's color-coded sizing system is designed so the corresponding resin and catalyst System Sizes are selected together.
The Hawk Epoxy Pump Kit attaches directly to the resin and catalyst containers and provides calibrated dispensing for accurate resin-to-catalyst ratios.
The kit includes a dedicated R1 Resin Pump, along with separate pumps for C2/C3 and C1/C5 catalysts. Pump kits are available for System Sizes 1 & 2 and separately for System Size 3
